My Current Skincare Routine

Monday, September 18, 2017

It can be hard sometimes to organize an adequate skincare routine; there are many steps, different products for different types of skin and different issues, and it can even be complicated to know the order in which you apply each step and how frequently.
Today I'm going to show you the facial skincare routine I'm currently trying out and I'll tell you how I came about this personalized routine.

It's actually cheating a little because Rego Lodos Pharmacy has made it easy with their Personal Beauty Pack service which I spoke to you about here: Rego Lodos Personal Beauty Pack.

Now that I'm breastfeeding there are many ingredients I must avoid so it was more convenient to ask the experts to prepare a detailed routine!
Morning Routine

1. Facial Hygiene
In the morning it's important to cleanse the skin and apply a toner before any treatment:

Bioderma Sensibio Gel Moussante: it's a light cleanser for sensitive skin as it calms, reduces swelling and hydrates.

Rego Lodos Balancing Toner: it's important to use a toner to balance the skin before applying other treatments. This one feels fresh and hydrating.

2. Eye Cream
Skin Active Neostrata: a light cream but with new generation antiaging ingredients.

3. Intensive Treatment
Skinceuticals Phloretin CF: it's a wide range antioxidant treatment which protects the skin from pollution and free radicals as well as stimulating cell regeneration, reducing hyper pigmentation and improving skin texture.

4. Daily Treatment
Neostrata Refine HL: an oil-free light moisturizer which hydrates and provides sunscreen as well as treating fine lines.

5. Sunscreen
As well as my usual sunscreen they recommend I top up with Anthelios Spray 50+ Antishine which is water resistant, can be used on sensitive skin and provides a dry and invisible finish.

6. Daily Makeup
Erborian CC Cream: contains pigments to unify skin tone as well as hydrating and treating the first signs of aging. I like it a lot but is a little dark on my skin.
Evening Routine

1. Facial Hygiene
I love that they have included a double cleansing, I think it's basic in a good routine. The products are:
GH Oil Cleanser and Makeup Remover: a perfect oil cleanser for the first step of the double cleanse. This one contains hydrating, repairing and antiaging ingredients.

Skinceuticals Retexturing Activator: it's a bifunctional serum which hydrates deeply as well as activating cell regeneration. It improves texture and reduces wrinkles and fine lines.

4. Daily Treatment
Darphin Hydraskin Gel Cream: provides a fresh hydration to normal and combination skins.
Weekly Treatments
As well as the daily routine they provided three weekly treatments:

-Sehaqui Clay Mask: a 100% natural clay mask with a high level of minerals such as silica, magnesium, iron, calcium and potassium. It purifies the skin as well as detoxifying, remineralizing and revitalizing the skin.

Rego Lodos Hydrating Mask: a hydrating mask with a high content of hyaluronic acid leaving the skin silky smooth.

Darphin Dermoabrasion: contains natural exfoliators such as pearl, silica and lava to reduce pores, sunspots and dead skin, while still being okay to use on sensitive skin.
As you can see it's a complete facial routine, with a wide variety of products from different brands and price ranges. With the Personal Beauty Pack I have a 10% discount if I buy at least three full-sized and my followers also get a 5% discount on their webpage until the 1st of October.
