How to Style a T-shirt with Patches

Thursday, February 16, 2017

Today I wanted to show you how I style a very recent trend: colourful patches. These were already on the t-shirt and I thought they were a great way to add a fun touch to a monochrome look.

The white t-shirt is by Only and it features the logan "Wake Up and Be Awesome" which is cool because it's inspirational and it also has several different colourful patches like a diamond, a banana, a couple of hearts, a cupcake and a lightning bolt.

The rest of the look is quite monochrome because the patches add the fun factor. The grey skinny jeans are maternity trousers by Seraphine and I use them a great deal, they go with everything.

The long duster cardigan is also new and from Only, I love it because it's wooly and warm, long-sleeved and features two very long side slits. It almost reaches the ground and it's great because I can wear it with a lot of my t-shirts as it'll keep me warm.

At last I'm featuring my stunning Office Lucky Charm studded boots. They were a Christmas gift and I have been wearing them a lot and getting so many compliments! They're quite obviously a dupe for the Chloe Susannah boots which I love but are so expensive.
These are real leather, very comfortable and look very much like the real deal. I don't usually like to buy copies but these have been so useful in my wardrobe! They come in several colours and finishes.

Finally I'm wearing my black Michael Kors Jet Set tote bag, it's large and roomy and goes with my monochrome look. The pop of colour is the royal blue pom-pom by Luxurissime!

Have you got any clothes with patches?
