ZARA Outfit for my first day of Engagement in Dubai

Thursday, August 27, 2015

At last I've got an outfit post to show you. I managed to take some outfit photos on our trip to Dubai, and they're extra special because the backdrop is amazing and it's just all that more unique to be in a foreign country.
Also, I'm very excited to show you this post today because the photos were taken on my first day of my engagement!

We didn't do anything particularly special on that day, we visited a few places in the city and went for a swim in Jumeirah Beach Resort, but that day I will always remember fondly because it was our first day of engagement. I remember just prancing around in happiness and holding hands and just enjoying the moment!
I know, it sounds sickly cheesy but if you'd like to see what we got up to, you can check out my vlog from that day:
Now onto the outfit of that day: it really seems as if I was into ZARA at the time because most, if not all, the outfit posts feature ZARA clothing, but I think I went a little wild shopping there right before we went so that's why I mostly packed ZARA clothes.

This outfit is no exception, I am wearing my star trousers of the season: these very loose fitting beige trousers which are perfect for the hot season without having to wear shorts. They're really comfortable, feature a drawstring waist and come in several colours, although I went for the sandy beige.
As for the top, when I purchased it I thought it was a basic t-shirt but it turned out to be oversized and with a large slit on one side. It's still a nice top and I got it in steel grey, although I almost went for the white one.

My brown Michael Kors handbag is perfect for travelling as I can fit many things, it's sturdy and it features a zip so it's safer than my black Michael Kors bag. I know I keep showing these two bags but they're so sturdy and handy that I use them almost daily!
As for my sandals, they're sporty sandals by The North Face which I bought about 4 years ago to go to India. They were an excellent purchase as they feature proper rugged soles, they're extremely comfortable and the back straps can be removed to use as flip-flops.

I do have to say that the best part of this outfit has to be my engagement ring! It's a gorgeous solitary diamond in a white gold ring, which my fiancé saved for and purchased in our hometown in Spain. He was very annoyed to find out that gold and diamonds are much cheaper in Dubai, but I love the ring I have and I wouldn't change it for anything in the world!
