How to Style Bell Sleeves

Wednesday, March 29, 2017

One of the biggest trends this year has been the bell sleeves, there seem to be hundreds of jumpers, shirts and tops with big flared sleeves. How can one pull it off (whilst being pregnant at the same time)?

There are many different types of bell sleeves and they've reached maternity clothing. Here we have a beautiful striped flute sleeved top by Missguided, from their maternity range. I was a little unsure about the horizontal stripes, but in fact it's really flattering!

I've paired the striped top with my ASOS over the bump skinny jeans which are very comfortable and also look absolutely great, they feature pockets and buttons so look entirely like regular jeans.

I love adding a bit of colour once the sun starts making a more regular appearance, and I really like the way pink looks with black and white stripes. I'm wearing my Muuba pink leather biker jacket, which is one of my most-worn jackets in spring and summer.
Another pink accessory are my pointed court shoes from ZARA. They were from last summer and I love the way they combine suede and croc effect.

Oh and the gigantic aviator sunglasses? They're the famous High Key sunglasses Desi Perkins designed in collaboration with Quay Australia. They're big and flashy with the mirrored lenses but who can say no to gold on gold like this?

Have you tried the bell sleeve trend?
