Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot Instant Perfecting Power Primer Review

I have combination skin and large pores, so I have quite a few pore refining products in my beauty stash, today I'm going to talk to you about the cheapest one I have!
It's quite the chance I have this product: I picked up some Soap & Glory products for a friend and as there was 2x1 I picked this up out of curiosity, not thinking it would be any good.

Pore refining primers are basically silicone-filled products which fill in your large pores and imperfections to provide a smoother base to work on. Don't expect very large pores to disappear, that just doesn't happen, but it does minimize their look.
Formula and Finish
It's a very smooth cream you apply over your skin after moisturizing, it's always a good idea to let it absorb well before applying makeup but this one is great because it doesn't leave a large layer of sticky cream on your face.
It contains vitamin E which leaves the skin looking radiant instead of looking dry or lackluster.
The silicones help to create a blurring effect, giving a smooth surface to apply makeup.
Effect and Lasting Power
This incredibly well-priced primer not only smooths pores but also mattifies and helps foundation last a little longer, specially in areas where oil tends to appear before.
I didn't expect it to work wonders but it manages to keep my skin looking better for longer, I'm pleasantly surprised!
Overall
I am thoroughly impressed by the effects of this  £10 mattifying primer. I never expect any primer to completely make my pores disappear or keep my face shine-less all day, but this one helps to blur pores and imperfections and keeps foundation looking good for longer.

Do you use any primers? Do you use them daily or for special occasions?
