Outfit of the Day : A morning in historical Segovia

Wednesday, February 25, 2015

This past Sunday morning we had the chance to have a nice romantic walk around the beautiful city of Segovia, in the centre of Spain. I have been to Segovia many times before and it's an incredibly beautiful place to visit with so many beautiful monuments.

We had a walk around in the morning and it was a sunny but cold day. It was the last weekend of carnival so many people, especially children, were dressed up with colorful disguises.

The aqueduct in the centre of Segovia is incredibly impressive, it crosses one of the main squares and it's incredible that it's still standing there after so many years. The cathedral is another incredible monument and it's worth a visit. One mustn't forget to visit the impressive Alcazar which is a beautiful castle which rises out on a rocky crag and is amazing!

My outfit was comfortable to walk in although it was so sunny that my mostly black outfit seemed a little sombre for the occasion! I love my Superdry black pea coat which I've had for quite a while now and the ZARA checked shirt adds some colour to my monochrome outfit.
